Job Title: Director of Business Development

Job Summary

The Director of Business Development is a strategic sales and marketing leadership role. This role is responsible for creating new business partnerships as well as continuing to grow existing relationships. This person will be thoughtful, collaborative but also driving to grow the business.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Creates and implements thoughtful business development strategies intrinsic to Oxford Garden’s customer centric values.
  • Collaborates with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of business development strategies.
  • Builds and nurtures strong relationships with key industry players and strategic suppliers.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and provides a thoughtful approach in following up on sales leads that closes the sale and promotes lasting customer relationships.
  • Represents Oxford Garden at various events such as conferences and tradeshows.
  • Recruit and develop the sales team. (Inside and Outside Reps).
  • Develops and facilitates thoughtful sales and marketing strategies resulting in quality leads to be converted to successful clients (cold calling, marketing content, emails, etc.)
  • Determines sales metrics and goals.
  • Works closely with the sales team to develop strategies for achieving revenue targets. Provides thoughtful leadership and guidance to the sales team in their efforts to secure new clients and expand existing accounts.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
  • Sales experience is a must, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Bachelors in business or business-related field
  • Comfortable and confident using technology as an integral part of the sales process,
  • Excellent written and communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
